Serve a Meal logo
Want to serve a meal in our soup kitchen? Gather a group of up to 6 people and sign up to help serve breakfast (7:30-9:30am) or lunch (11:30am-1:30pm), Monday-Friday. If you are ready to book, follow these steps:
  1. Choose a date and meal from the Available Shifts below.
  2. Click the Volunteer Application button in the sidebar.
  3. Email us at Volunteer@unionshelter.org with your name and the date/meal you are requesting. Please note that date/meal is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation from staff.
  4. A staff person will contact you to confirm your date/meal, answer any questions, and get your group registration link set up. All group members need to be signed up before your date.
