A Message From Candace's Team

This year I'm asking my friends and family to take a moment to give back to those in need. The Community Shelter does more than just house people experiencing homelessness, they also feed anyone in our community who needs a meal. They help individuals and families transition to permanent housing. Throughout my experience working with the shelter, I can assure you thry are always looking for new ways to give back and they sincerely care about those they serve. Homelessness has touched my life in a number of ways. The outstanding people and resources of the Community Shelter could have helped in so many ways. I want to make sure all families have that support when they need it most! So please show your love for all their hard work! Join me for Pass the Plate, Nov. 22nd 8:30am-10am, where we can share a meal and hear more about the shelter's great work. Can't make it? Please donate instead! (For those who planned to give me a gift this season, donate instead! This will be the best gift I could receive). Even the smallest contribution can make a difference.
